A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum - October 1978

Russell Smith is making his second appearance with the Players, having been in Arsenic and Old Lace.

 

 Brigadoon - October 1979

Russell Smith (Stuart Dairymple) is appearing in his fourth Barre Players pro­ductions production. You will remember him as “Stewpot” in South Pacific presented this last summer by the Vermont Center for the Performing Arts. Russ is active behind the scenes as well. He is the photographer, publicity man and heads up the set construction crew for Brigadoon. He further claims to be a seasoned veteran of Players’ cast parties.

 

Anything Goes - October 1980

Russell Smith (Moonface Martin) has been involved in a motley assortment of community theatre adventures since joining the Players onstage three years ago. He is a Trustee of the Vermont Center for the Performing Arts, sings with Custom Blend and is a seasoned veteran of Players’ cast parties

 

Kiss Me Kate - October 1981

Russell Smith (Co-Director) has been involved with a motley assortment of community theater adventures since joining the Players onstage four years ago, including a stint last fall as (Moonface Martin, Public Enemy 13) in Anything Goes. Russell directed a segment of Lovers and Other Strangers last spring, sings with Custom Blend, and is a seasoned veteran of Barre Players’ cast parties.

 

Sweet Charity - October 1982

Russell Smith (Co-Producer) counts Charlie Brown and Moonface Martin, Public Enemy No. 13 (Anything Goes) among his favorite roles, along with cheese Danish from the Culinary Arts Institute. He enjoys organizing parties, working backstage, and organizing parties, and figures the reopening of the Opera House to be cause for another party or two.

 

Hello, Dolly - October 1983

Russell Smith (Barnaby Tucker) is a travel writer for the Vermont Travel

Division. (Makes Sense.) In addition to telling out-of-staters where to go,

(who writes these things?), he moonlights as the Players’ president .and chief

reveler.

 

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - April2000

Russell Smith (Co-Director) played (Charlie Brown) four times and co-direct­ed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory once before (MTG Children’s Theatre, 1994). Are Charley’s Aunt and Where’s Charlie next?
